In the Works

Wow, it’s been a minute since I updated… and this won’t even be a very thorough entry. Alot has been going down in my neck of the galaxy….
- Got Married! What!?
- Baby girl - Reina was born on 1/1/2008 (pics soon come) - Whoa!
- HD Video camera was picked up to document life as it evolves. - Stay posted for footy.
- My laptop took a shit (video card overheated) - So I was forced to go buy the Alienware M15x (to be delivered this week)
- Cable Internet connectivity was pissing me off, so I switched to Sprint Broadband. Now I’m online anywhere I wanna be ya hurd. Plus I installed OpenWRT on my Linksys WRT54G3G-ST
- I finally launched my BIG project. Hit me up if you haven’t seen it already (p411)
- Got a PS3 with alllll the good games to go with it. Big up E for always coming through with that good sheeit.
- Got a new job, working with the future of E-Commerce, so I’m on a job high.
- Miami Heat rode the retirement wagon until all the wheels fell off. Now D Wade is on an island by himself (think Iverson circa 76ers).
- On a brighter NBA note, the Warriors continue to be the most entertaining team in the league.
- A-Town finally got a mens league and my team will be taking home the title (thats right, prediction time mo fucka!)
- Sold my 20’s in the hopes that I can cop some Giovanna Dalar’s sometime this year.
- I fell off the late train and realized even in Cali, I can assemble an AK47 or AR15, if I do my research right.

My Gadget Purchasing Knows No Bounds - Kirby!!!

Wow, porn money really can burn a hole in my pocket sometimes. In the past few months or so I have picked up a ton of toys that I really could do without… Canon HD Video Camera (even though I don’t have a BluRay burner), AEM cold air intake for my Jeep, a new couch/chaise lounge set, Jack Lalanne’s Juicer, Sony PS3 with more games than I can play…. and now, a Kirby Sentria vacuum.
The Kirby Sentria is quite literally the king of the vacuums. I used to work at a hotel and had completely devoted my brand faith to Oreck, due to their lightweight and strong performance. About 3 or 4 months ago I even hit the local Oreck dealer and picked one up for my home.
Then early this week a door-to-door salesman came by, offering to shampoo the carpet in our dirtiest room. Luckily for us both, my roommate had just moved out and left the carpet in dire straits. I scheduled the sales kid to come through at 6 to clean up my room. Little did I know he would soon be retiring my Oreck.
It all started with a salt test. He dumped a huge pile of salt on my bedroom floor, then proceeded to rub it in with his hand until it disappeared. This was my Oreck’s chance to shine… It was only a few months old and would perform like a champ, I just knew it! I had complete faith it would suck this salt out of my carpet. He ran my Oreck over this spot 30 times (counted them off). “Do you usually vacuum spots 30 times like that?” he asked with a sly grin.
Then he attached some black filter discs to his Kirby’s demo containment unit. He proceeded to run the Kirby over the spot maybe 4 times, then removed the black filter. It had a PILE of salt on it. He repeated the process once more and the salt was nearly gone. I was blown away… my Oreck was put to shame.
He then proceeded to fit the Kirby with a carpet shampoo attachment and went to work on my grimey ass carpet. Needless to say, 30 minutes later my room had received a killer makeover.
While he was cleaning, I was on my computer price shopping and looking for Kirby consumer reviews. The most convincing tests were performed at the Vacuum Cleaner Research Center, Great Vacs. The only negative fanfare I could uncover was referencing annoying salesman practices. I guess we got lucky cuz this kid was not pushy whatsoever. Even the closer he brought along with him was laid back and unconcerned.
Since they left I have vacuumed probably 4 times, shampooed twice, and cleaned the keyboards & vents on all my computers to a tee. I love the Kirby, it’s my new best friend.

I’ve been heavy into the new PS3 game EA SKATE lately… and was hyped like a muhruhfuckuhhhh when I ran across a replica of the classic EMB bricks, Gonz gap and all, in the downtown section.
I was nearly as hyped when I ran across this little real life replica that was put together for the “Vans Downtown Showdown 2007”
Also, don’t sleep on the EMB event coverage thanks to Emb4Ever.

300 The Movie

Just this past weekend I caught the movie 300 for the first time. I’m on the late train with this flick and damn sure wish I caught it on a big screen. The special effects in this movie are definitely a cut above your typical sword swinging battle epic.
The story is actually loosely based on the Battle of Thermopylae and the visuals were heavily influenced by Frank Miller’s comic series.
After watching the movie I was left wondering how I myself might get the same shredded abs of a Spartan Warrior and found the 300 workout. Needless to say, soon I too will be transformed from soft Scottish actor to Spartan King!

I was deep in thought, imagining the amazing feets of Jesus as he walked on water, when I asked myself… what did Jesus look like? Then god spoke to me and I saw this face…

FIBA MVP Unjustice

A few days ago I was reporting on the posterization tour that Team USA was in the midst of. There was no reason to make any guaranSheeds as to the tour’s final outcome, being that snowballs don’t last in hell.
Although, believe it or not, there was unjust to be had at this years FIBA Tournament! Not since Roy Jones Jr. watched the gold medal draped around Park Si-Hun’s neck has there been as ridiculous of a “decision” made on an Olympic stage. The MVP of this year’s FIBA America’s Tournament goes to none other than… Argentina’s Luis Scola!?
Instead of saying “shame” on whoever decided to pick a loser for MVP… no… fuck that! Shame on the shit for brains who didn’t pick Lebron James as this year’s FIBA Tournament MVP!

This past week I had the pleasure of experiencing the most amazing thunder storm of my life. I realize it was pretty much chicken shit compared to what anyone in the Midwest or Southeast sees during tornado season… but for the Central Coast of California - let’s just say War of the Worlds came to town.
Coincidentally, this storm flashed through at the same time that NASA is reporting “Global warming could bring more severe U.S. storms.”
NASA scientists have developed a new climate model that indicates that the most violent severe storms and tornadoes may become more common as Earth’s climate warms.

Team USA - Posterizing The Globe

If you are into basketball, watching Team USA destroy the competition at this years FIBA America Championship Tournament is a sight to behold. Our International dominance has not been this prevalent since the days of Magic & Bird. Of course this is only a qualifying tournament, but it is a beautiful thing to see none the less. Get a load of our International posterization tour…
